hello livejournal
i need a new flatmate soon. my house is off brick lane and the room is single with a built in wardrobe and two (TWO!) windows and costs £100 a week inc bills and we have internet and freeview and a cat.
if you or anyone you know might want it (preferably someone with all their own teeth and hair who likes booze and Monk) then leave me a comment or something.

my life is a bit dull really.
today i was gonna go and take some photos of old things in the east end but i really couldn't be arsed so i watched the x factor and ate trout and sulked a bit. i remember when i used to be drunk all the time. that was more fun than this. i think.
apparently i'm going to brighton tomorrow but it involves someone getting their act together so i'm not holding my breath.
(i almost put 'i ain't' there instead of 'i'm not', that's a bit weird. i find myself occasionally saying 'ain't', actually. if my mother heard me she'd have a fit.)

which determines what religion your personal beliefs best match up with, I am pleased to announce that I am 100% Reform Jew. Best news I've had all day. Went to Hard-Fi last night at the Academy with Tim because he got us freebies and I wanted to see the supports (Sway and BIlly Bragg.) Sway was great, Billy Bragg wasn't too bad, and I ended up staying for Hard-Fi. Whatever you might think of their music, I've not seen anyone get a crowd going like that in ages. It was incredible. The wave of people jumping up and down went all the way back to the sound desk and right round the sides.
Working tonight, exams tomorrow, University Challenge on Friday. Woo.

I have a job!! At everyone's favourite South London indie pub! I now work behind the bar at the Windmill! I start on Wednesday and I'm working on Thursday so I can see Darren Hayman play! I knew I was due something good happening after the last few weeks I've had.
